The Wildfire Solutions Coalition was launched in June 2025 in response to the growing urgency of California’s wildfire crisis. The cross-sector Coalition is unified in the critical need to move the state from wildfire response to wildfire risk reduction.
The goal of the Coalition is to secure the resources necessary—from federal, state, local, philanthropic, and private sources— to achieve California’s wildfire resilience goals and dramatically reduce the impacts of catastrophic wildfire across the state.

California has a thoughtful action plan to build fire resilience, but we need to work collaboratively to secure funding at all levels to implement this plan.”
STEVE FRISCH

Our coalition is united around solutions. Addressing the wildfire crisis is a matter of implementation—we know what works, and the state has an action plan. But we can’t execute it without adequate funding.”
